What is Read-only access and how is it used?

What does the read-only access permission allow administrators to view? How to create read-only administrators and how it's used

With Read-only access, you can share your calendar with additional administrator in your workspace easily and securely. Read-only administrators can view bookings through the Calendar and Bookings tab but not edit, move or delete any booking information. They are also unable to send payment links or invoices.

Who is Read-only access for?

Read-only access gives the ability to view the booking calendar for their designated venues, including the booking details, as well as a straightforward list of bookings.

Read-only access is very helpful if you have volunteers or staff that you want to know about upcoming bookings so they can grant and monitor bookers' access, while knowing that no information can be changed.

How to assign an administrator read-only access permissions:

From your Bookteq overview scroll down to Account and select Administrators from the dropdown menu. You can then either add a new administrator or click on the existing administrator you want to give read-only access to.

On the selected administrator details, scroll down to Select the role for this new administrator and click on Read-only. Then simply save your changes. This administrator is now permitted to view the calendar and upcoming bookings with read-only access.
